The main waitress, who I suspect was in charge of this awful restaurant, was rude, unfriendly, unwelcoming, and unpleasant. This was possibly the worst service I've ever had. I would give it zero stars if I could, and would never recommend the place to anyone.

A creepy, sparsely furnished, old place to stay on the edge of town. It was decent enough for hanging up my tired biking gloves, having a beer, and getting some rest for the evening.

We felt very comfortable during our two night stay. The room was clean, and the friendly, accommodating staff left a small treat for us in the lobby each day. It was a little gesture that went down really well. Breakfast was delicious, and there was good free parking.

We stayed one night, and even that was too long. The power went out at 3:30 a.m., and we had to wait until 7:30 for someone to arrive. All we were told was that someone had plugged in the wrong appliance. What about our phones? Breakfast was disappointing, and the whole experience was far too expensive. Never again!

We had a warm welcome and excellent service, and breakfast was prepared with care. The basket of fruit and sweets in the stairwell was a particularly thoughtful touch. The room was modern, cozy, and beautiful, though the pictures of cows and deer may not suit everyone. We found the mattress and pillows a bit too soft, but that's personal preference. I first missed having a towel rack by the sink, though it was easy to find one yourself. The hotel is a little outside town, but it's very quiet and a great base for hikes. There's also a fantastic restaurant across the street. We'd love to return.
