For a motorcycle trip, this is a great base: it's right at the start of the B500, and excellent roads begin as soon as you leave the large car park. My friend and I stayed overnight, and it cost far less than anything we found in Baden Baden. There's no food available here, but I can recommend the restaurant next door. The leopard print blanket got a little moan from my mate, who's fussy about things like that and likes to complain, but in the end he agreed we'd stay here again if we came back. Great value and a perfect location if you're here for the B500.

Geroldsau is such a lovely, picturesque spot near Baden Baden. Our room was large, spacious and clean, with a beautiful forest view, and everything was so peaceful. If you're looking to get away from the city bustle, this is just the place. Hotel owner Anna can help with any questions about booking or choosing a room.

It was tidy and clean, but felt too old-fashioned for my taste. They still have feather pillows, for example, and you can hear everyone walking around the house.
