The kids loved the slide room after dinner, and it made it easy for us to enjoy a family meal without worrying that they were bothering other diners. We were there on a Friday night, and the staff were excellent and helpful. The place felt fancy but still relaxed. Our food came quickly, tasted delicious, and the portions were just right. My husband especially loved the beef with mushroom dish and keeps telling people about it. A real Taunus gem for families.

We’re already looking forward to going back. The waiter was attentive, the service was really nice, and the boss came over to greet us. The Hessen tiramisu was really, really good, though I forgot to take a picture of it. I came in without any expectations, but the delicious food from the Hessen area made this my new favorite German restaurant. I tried the schnitzel with mushroom and fried egg. The combination seemed odd at first, but I’m glad I gave it a chance. It was fantastic, and the portion was so big I could only finish half. My boyfriend had Handkäse as an appetizer and said it was really good and special too.

Eppstein is a little off the beaten track, but I recommend this authentic German restaurant. There’s a wide selection of beer, and I’d suggest the cordon bleu. The food is great and the staff are friendly. Parking is available about 400 ft away. A beer garden would be great in summer.

We absolutely love this little place and its staff. There are playgrounds both indoors and outside, and the food and service are great. It’s one of our favorite restaurants in the area.
