Bio-Hotel Melter

It's a quiet neighborhood, and the rooms are nice.

Cosy and nice.

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I had a double room to myself with a balcony. The hotel is in a residential area, but Bad Laer is small enough that the center is an easy walk away. I picked this place by chance because it was near my client, and it turned out to be very quiet, which is why I gave the location five stars. I hadn't realized hotel guests could have dinner there. I tried the vegetarian option both times: beetroot schnitzel with date cream one evening, then pasta with mushrooms on my last evening. There is parking at the hotel, though it was full during my stay. Street parking nearby was plentiful, so that wasn't a problem.

Everyone was consistently friendly, from the cleaners and the women at the breakfast buffet to the reception staff. They always had a smile for us, and we'd happily come back. My sister and I both had a good stay. My double room, booked for one, was nicely furnished, quiet, and looked onto the garden. Her first room faced the street and was a little noisy, but she was able to switch quickly and got a lovely quiet room too. Breakfast was perfect, and we had dinner there twice. Highly recommended!
