Cross Inn Osnabrück By Hackmann

A newly hired, short, chubby woman with black hair had a noticeably rude manner that made our stay uncomfortable. She seemed to be trying too hard to look efficient, but wasn't welcoming toward guests. Twice, she did things that felt deliberately provocative, which I let pass at the time. I hadn't intended to complain, but the final incident made me leave this review. We didn't have any breakfasts during our stay, yet she charged us for three weeks of breakfast. The other receptionist had to fix the final invoice, delaying checkout and making us late for our flight. Her actions were unprofessional and added needless stress to our stay.

The team deserves extra points. They made us feel welcome and at home, almost like family, and did their best to make sure we felt seen. The room was nice and clean, with a good shower and a comfortable bed that wasn't too soft. Breakfast was very nice too, and there was a pleasant bar and a room to sit in. What special hotel staff!

The lobby had the only decent internet, but it was full of loud, drunk people shouting and laughing. It was so noisy I had to raise my voice just to speak with my boyfriend, which was especially disappointing on what was meant to be a romantic Valentine's Day stay. Most of the staff were unfriendly, although one woman was really kind and helpful. I didn't get her name. My room was freezing, and I'm sure the heating wasn't working at all. The internet connection there was terrible, barely usable, and there was no water kettle, which was inconvenient. If you're hoping for a romantic, comfortable evening, I can't recommend this hotel. Go to Holiday Inn instead. It's much nicer, for the same price!!!!

The room was spacious and the price was okay, though the beer selection was poor. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there are several places to eat and drink nearby. Good hotel!
