Hotel Krämerbrücke Erfurt

The hotel itself is wonderful, but the customer service left us very disappointed. Several times in the middle of the night, the front desk called to say another room was accusing us of being noisy. We were asleep. Someone could have briefly walked past our room to check that we weren't making noise, but instead they woke us repeatedly and we slept very poorly. In the morning, we asked the front desk employee to explain. She argued that the staff had done everything right and, of course, had to believe the other guest, but not us. It's a pity how the staff handled the noise complaints, and even worse that they wouldn't acknowledge or apologize for their actions at all.

The hotel was great, very clean, and the rooms were well appointed. Breakfast had a good selection, though I didn't get to eat here in the evening.

You can look straight out at Erfurt's famous landmark from this hotel at the Krämerbrücke, right in the heart of the Old Town. It's easy to explore historic sights on foot from here. The place has a charming feel and modern amenities, making for a pleasant stay.

The hotel is beautiful and close to everything, but it got very hot throughout the building, including the lobby, and made sleeping difficult. It was 93 outside and the room AC didn't work. We complained and the hotel tried to fix the situation, but other guests also told us the air conditioning in their rooms wasn't working.
