The owner lives in the same building and is very friendly and helpful. We had a private, quiet stay. The kitchen is shared, though since the guesthouse is small, you're unlikely to keep running into the other tenants. The rooms are simple, but the beds are comfortable and the shower works fine. It's a clean, cozy pension at a reasonable price. It's outside the city center, but Erfurt's public transport is great, so getting around was easy. There are supermarkets, a chemist, restaurants, and lots of bakeries just around the corner. Bäckerei Roth at the Wendenstraße tram stop is a hidden gem. I'd book this pension again if I visit Erfurt.

We’ve come back to this friendly guesthouse in Erfurt several times. It feels homey, and arriving is always pleasant. The city center is three or four tram stops away, or you can walk there in about 20 minutes along the Gera River and through a park.

The communal kitchen has a pretty good range of equipment, and the setting is peaceful. You’re still close to the center, and getting to the exhibition grounds takes just a few tram stops and one change. I’d happily stay here again.

Mr. and Mrs. Flemming, thanks for the stay and the nice conversations. Anyone coming to Erfurt should consider booking here. Pension Flemming was comfortable, with really nicely furnished rooms and very welcoming hosts. The tram stop is around a five-minute walk away. Best regards, Eichelhard
