The staff, who I assume are the owner of this little hotel, were very friendly. Since recent technical trouble meant my room only had a small black-and-white TV, they kindly offered me the TV room. I actually enjoyed watching the election results on it. The room itself was bright, spotless, and tastefully furnished, with comfortable beds and a well-equipped bathroom. Soap and towels were plentiful, and hygiene clearly matters here. The place is beautifully situated, with large windows framed by roses and ivy. I'd happily return. I also want to try the restaurant that apparently belongs to the hotel next time. It was closed on November 29, 2024, but there are good restaurants nearby.

Simple, charmingly old-fashioned, and very clean. It was a good, quiet place for a night in a central location. We had a wonderful breakfast at Bouble B, two doors down, so I can't comment on the hotel's service.

The hotel manager was very friendly, and we were glad to find somewhere affordable in Erfurt during Advent. Still, I hope they invest in bringing the place up to date. The rooms are especially noisy because the walls are so thin. Our sink was practically coming off the wall, and at least our room looked very dated. Vodafone mobile reception was poor, and there was no Wi-Fi.

We were a group of motorcyclists and really enjoyed our stay. It was clean and comfortable, right in the old town just a few meters from the Merchants' Bridge. The price was great, and the hostess was friendly. Next door there's a bar/restaurant where we had a very good breakfast, and the dinner and burgers were delicious too. We'd love to come back!
