Getting the keys was simple, thanks to the lockbox by the front door. The apartment was well stocked, with kitchen gear, a guidebook, even a puzzle book, and there was plenty of cupboard space. We also had a small roof terrace off the bathroom. We came for the Christmas market, but the air conditioning should be useful in summer. The old town location is great, close to the Krämerbrücke, with public parking an easy walk away at €10 for a day. Even with the tram stop right outside, it stayed quiet. Our short visit to Erfurt had everything we needed.

Five days into our stay in the attic apartment and we're loving it. It's clean, cozy, and furnished with real care. The host has been friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend!

The ground-floor small double room worked well for the price. It's at the back, so fairly quiet, and came with a wardrobe, TV, fridge, dishes, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, and a little terrace. The private bathroom is outside the room, which was fine. Check-in was easy, and they even left an ashtray on the terrace after noticing I smoke. Thanks for that, I'd be happy to return. The place is small but has what you need and is very close to the city center. The one bother was noise from the guests upstairs: doors slamming at midnight, then banging on the floor at 6:30 in the morning. That was down to their inconsiderate behavior.

The apartment was nice. Next time, though, I'd ask for a ground-floor room instead of the second floor, because those stairs are steep and narrow.
