We stayed here for IWA 2019, and it’s a fantastic hotel with rustic decor, a lovely spacious interior, and a very quiet setting. The Nuremberg Exhibition Centre is a 20-30 minute walk away. The breakfast room is fairly small, though that makes sense given the size of the rooms. We booked without breakfast, so it didn’t matter to us. I hope to come back in 2020.

I stayed two nights for a business trip and was worried at first about traffic from the nearby highway. There was no noise at all, since a high wall sits between the property and the highway. The area feels rather village-like, but Erlangen’s city center is a 20-minute walk away. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and for the first time in a hotel of this category, my dust mite allergy caused no problems. The bathroom was modern and clean too. The breakfast buffet was small but enough for me. This has been my best stay so far in Germany in a hotel of this category. It was quiet and comfortable throughout.
