Ferienhaus Strandperle

This is a pleasant little house, but only for up to four people because space is limited. For older children or teenagers, the very poor Wi-Fi is a real problem: it drops out with just two tablets, and the internet often goes down completely. I suspect one router is shared across several houses. That's especially hard when it rains, and these days it's not acceptable. The bathroom is cramped, with a tiny sink and nowhere comfortable to stand in front of the mirror. We also got bitten badly by mosquitoes and couldn't find screens on the balcony doors. The gardener arrived without warning, walked through the garage into the garden, and started mowing while we were all home. It felt quite rude, especially if you imagine trying to sunbathe. With low expectations it's a nice little house, but nothing more. A generous 3/5 stars.

We slept well in the quiet location, and check-in and checkout were easy. The place is furnished nicely and practically, and there’s a barbecue available. At night, though, we couldn’t air it out properly because there were no mosquito screens, and we got bitten several times. Wi-Fi and a radio would have been welcome.

I’m completely satisfied with holiday apartment Manfred Meinen. It’s very dependable, and I’d gladly recommend it.
