We rented the "Achterdeck" holiday apartment in the "An Deck" building in Bensersiel for several days, but the condition is so disgusting that we’re leaving early. There’s a musty, moldy smell in the stairwell, and the apartment is run-down, dilapidated, and neglected. Wallpaper is peeling in places, the exposed heating pipes are covered in dust and dirt, the walls are stained, and the door frames are damaged. The shower doors don’t close properly, and the shower frame badly needs replacing. It’s a disaster and absolutely not recommended.

The house was clean and the landlord was good. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need, though it isn’t modern, just functional. The mattresses were good. I’d gladly stay again.

Without a dog, Bensersiel is great for a vacation. With a dog, it’s very difficult: there’s no dog beach and no walks along the dike, just prohibitions.

There wasn’t much equipment, no spatula and so on, and unfortunately the place wasn’t clean.

A very good rest and a very good vacation.
