The location is excellent: the sea and dike are only five minutes away, and a Markant supermarket with the essentials is about ten minutes away. There’s also a slide and seesaw for children. The Minser Oog apartment itself was adequate, with a charming little balcony, but the kitchen could use more equipment. We brought our own spices, and a colander and whisk would have helped. The bathroom was a mess, with cobwebs all over the shower despite the €70 cleaning fee, and a broken screen with its rod snapped off. There was no toilet paper beyond half a broken roll. The internet cut out every ten minutes, and at 1.97m tall I wouldn’t recommend the bed to tall people. We know how vacation rentals work, but the value for money just isn't there. The tourist tax is charged separately, too. We booked a six-day stay through Check24 almost a week in advance. Only after booking did we learn the key had to be collected in Ostbense, not at the accommodation in Bensersiel. You really need a car, since public transport between the key pickup and the apartment takes about an hour. Our Messenger questions from a month before the stay still haven't been answered. All told, with these problems unresolved, I wouldn't book this place again.

The location was excellent, but the cleanliness was a real disaster. If you want somewhere clean and tidy, avoid this place.

The one good thing was the excellent location. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend this property. The apartment on Norderney was very outdated and badly cleaned, and the outdoor area was awful. Trash was scattered across the parking lot, and the laundry container stayed overflowing and unemptied for four days. We paid the rental price in cash at Hotel Nordstern and weren't given a receipt. I won't stay in this apartment again.

The garden play tower with its slide and swing was a favorite with the children, and the parking right outside the door was handy. The apartment is clean, practically furnished, and has a sensible layout with two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living and dining space, and a kitchenette. The kitchenette is compact and useful, though there's no oven. The central location means everything is within walking distance. You'll need to buy dishwasher tablets, dish soap, and garbage bags separately. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and even after we reported it, nobody addressed the problem.
