Hotel Luise

I spent a month here, and the reception was awful. Almost nobody on staff spoke English. Stains covered the walls, carpets, sheets, and pillows; some beds were broken, and in some rooms the cabinets, tables, and chairs were damaged and peeling. The bathrooms and toilets were in very poor shape, the elevator was broken and unusable, and some rooms had no internet. The breakfast bar was at least there, but the room was poor. This place doesn't deserve even one star.

There was no room service, even when I asked, and the rooms were dirty. When I needed something, staff were nowhere to be found; some were aggressive and didn't speak English. Breakfast was poor too. A complete disappointment.

The place smelled awful, and the carpets were filthy and stank. Some days breakfast wasn't available, or they brought it two hours late. The sheets were itchy, the TV didn't work, and mould was easy to spot all over. Worst stay ever.

The location was the one real plus, and the room did have a mini fridge. Everything else was a letdown. The carpet was dirty, bugs were on the walls, Wi-Fi didn't work, and things in the room were broken, including beds and a closet that were falling apart. There was no main light, just two small bedside lamps. The room was cold too, and the elevator wasn't working, which was especially rough for someone who had recently broken his leg. Staff barely spoke German and didn't speak English. We asked at reception for a feather-free duvet because I'm strongly allergic. They had none, so we asked for a clean duvet cover instead. The man said he'd leave one by our room, but after we got back from the concert around 5, it wasn't there. I used a towel for a pillow and took the cover off the feather duvet. At checkout, we told the woman what had happened; she just made a 🥺 face, said goodbye, and that was it. Checkout was at 11, but at 10:45 housekeeping came into our room and said we had five minutes to leave. I've never been this disappointed. This place should be closed down.
