The staff were amazing, so kind, wonderful, and helpful. The rooms were pristine and the beds top notch. Breakfast was great for a Spark. There's construction outside, which isn't ideal, but it is what it is.

The reception gentleman was very nice, and the cleaning lady was kind to my dog and cat. They knew I was worn out from the grand tour and offered to extend my stay hours. I really appreciated the hospitality. The hotel is new and conveniently located.

The hotel opened in April 2026, and I highly recommend it. It's close to the train and the heart of the city center. Rooms are compact and efficient, with USB-C and USB outlets. The fitness rooms, "Room" 108 and 109, had everything we needed. Breakfast exceeded expectations: eggs made to order, cappuccino, fresh plain yogurt, fruit, cucumbers, baked goods, cereals, meats, and cheeses. Outstanding value!

The hotel has excellent value for money, and we would gladly return. It's modern and well maintained, with convenient parking right at the hotel. Since the Spark by Hilton Essen City Centre opened recently, everything is still in excellent condition. The staff were friendly, attentive, and especially helpful, both at reception and in housekeeping. Our room was modern, tastefully decorated, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, the furnishings were well designed, and the towels were pleasantly soft. Cleanliness throughout was impeccable. The team clearly puts in the effort, and we can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel.
