The room was clean and cosy, and the staff were friendly. There was a big breakfast buffet too.

The hotel has been fully renovated since those old one-star reviews. The beds are brand new and really comfortable, and I slept very well. Service was good, and the staff were lovely despite the language barrier. A very good place for a night or two.

When I arrived, I found that my reservation had been cancelled and I had nowhere to stay, even though they had charged me for the room weeks earlier. The receptionist sent me to a partner "hotel" that smelled bad and felt unsafe. I found living organisms on the bed there. The photos are from that partner hotel, but the receptionist said they were "the same quality." They are refusing to refund the charge, so the case is now with the authorities. Friendly advice: stay away!

Breakfast was great, and the location is very good, with nice restaurants and shops nearby. Rooms on the ground floor may be a little too noisy.
