We tried the sauna, which you need to request in advance, and would happily recommend it. The breakfast was delicious, and our cozy room had incredible views. The family who owns and runs the hotel made us feel at home, with such welcoming, friendly staff. It’s right in the center of the Dorf, a short walk from the train station, with a cafe, bakery, and small grocery store nearby. There are plenty of hikes, restaurants, and other attractions within walking distance. Everything about the place was great, and we’d stay here again if we return to the area. Thanks for having us!

Getting around was easy, with convenient transport to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and room to explore on foot. The family running the hotel was incredibly kind. It’s a lovely place to stay.

The parking area is spacious, and there are at least three restaurants less than a five-minute walk away. Inside, the room was very clean, warm, and cozy. Breakfast was very good, and the friendly staff shared lots of useful tips.

The rooms were super clean, and breakfast was delicious. The staff and owner were so friendly and looked after us like family. The location was perfect, about a 10-minute drive to Garmisch. It exceeded my expectations, and we’ll be back!

There’s an easy gravel trail five minutes behind the hotel that leads to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and a beautiful waterfall about 25 minutes up the mountain behind it. For getting around, the train stop is just a four-minute walk away, and you can ride one stop to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Some restaurants are also within walking distance. The owners, or personnel, were kind and friendly. My stay was lovely: comfortable beds, spacious, cozy rooms, hot showers, and a tasty breakfast.
