Camping Strukkamphuk

Tent camping at around 50€/night feels too expensive, although the facilities are very good. The tent spot advertised at 30€/night wasn't available to us. The receptionist said they aren't allowed to rent those out while caravan spaces are still open. Our caravan space did include water, sewage, and electricity. There are showers, machine washing, dishwashing facilities, a sauna, massage, toilets, a small shop, a restaurant with decent prices, and organized garbage. It's super clean and civilized, and people are very friendly.

We camped here for three nights with my family. The facilities are great, and we liked the location. We'll come back.

The camping ground is nice, but the service really sucks. When I booked, I asked for a particular type of place, D, and they verbally confirmed it, so I paid in advance. Now I find out the place isn't fixed, and they say, “wir mussen sie irgendwohin stecken” (we need to put you somewhere). They won't return the prepayment either. They also close the sanitary buildings at 10 pm. Definitely not recommended if you're expecting customer friendliness and good service.

It's quite large and industrial, though efficiently organized. One shower wasn't working, so we had to cross the whole camp to use another.
