Gästehaus Sulsdorf

Quiet place, friendly people, nice stay.

Really great!

We waited an hour and a half for our food, with a child along, while later-arriving tables that ordered after us, including one with two more people than our group of eight, got their meals half an hour before we did. I’m a regular camper just ten minutes away by bike, but I won’t go back and I’ll tell people about this. The staff seemed disorganized and were "bitchy" when they thought nobody could hear them. We gave it a try, but at this rate they won’t make it through the winter. The schnitzel was tough and cold in the middle, probably from sitting under the heat lamp for 20 minutes. An absolute disaster. I can’t recommend it to anyone.

A heads-up before booking would have helped: the neighboring apartment was being completely renovated, and the constant construction noise ate into much of our time to relax. It ran from 8:00 a.m. until after 7:00 p.m. on some days, and even later. With steadier weather it probably wouldn’t have been an issue, but in the rain we were stuck inside the apartment. It could have been nice, so it’s best to ask about the work before you book.
