Breakfast was a highlight, with loads of choices and lovely outdoor seating overlooking the grounds. It was also easy to get to the lake. The staff were super friendly, and our room had a little terrace. The decor felt traditional, though the bathroom was renovated and modern. There’s no air conditioning, which American visitors should know, but the big windows brought in a nice breeze and it wasn’t too hot to sleep. A great place to stay, highly recommend.

The rooms still need renovating, though that’s planned. The food was great, and so was the service. Excellent hotel.

The preserved historical feel really stood out, from the elegant interior and decorations to the flavour of Princess Sisi. Kaiserin Elisabeth sits in a wonderful landscape, with welcoming staff and professional service. The gourmet food and local Bavarian dishes made it a very attractive destination. An unforgettable experience, thanks!

Having the lake directly across the street made the location perfect. The boat house was a great addition to our stay, and both the accommodations and service were excellent.

A very historic Lokanda, rich in Art-Nouveau and Bavarian artifacts and architecture, once liked and visited by the Empress Elisabeth Kaiserin. Breakfast was super, and the big garden has a view of lake STARBERG, the forest, and the nice Rosseninseln (inland). Very romantic!
