Really nice place, with good service and delicious food.

The warm, welcoming hosts were friendly and helpful, with great suggestions for outings. The Sonnenkaiser sits in a beautiful natural setting, with lots of wood and typical Bavarian charm. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained, and the rustic atmosphere still came with up-to-date technology. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

I can't say anything about the rooms yet. The inn staff are very friendly, and the Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake) is excellent. The covered outdoor seating area has a really pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant also offers lots of homemade things, including trout from its own fish farm and its own schnapps.

The breakfast buffet was generous and kept us full, and the owner and staff were really friendly. Our room was lovely, with a fantastic mountain view. It's beautifully located in Bavaria, between Schliersee and Zell am See. We'd be happy to come back.
