The owners were so kind and helpful. When we broke a pot at lunchtime, the landlady had already bought a replacement by that afternoon. They were always easy to reach and glad to answer questions. We stayed in the Rubihorn holiday apartment owned by the Speigl family for 10 days on a ski trip, and the location worked really well for us. There are several smaller ski areas nearby, so it was easy to try different slopes. Kleinwalsertal and the Nebelhorn, Kanzelwand, and Fellhorn mountains were also within easy reach. The first-floor apartment was just right for two. It’s modern, thoughtfully furnished, and very, very clean, with a lot of useful equipment: a kettle, dishwasher, Senseo and filter coffee machines, flat-screen TV, microwave, radio, and more. It looked a bit bigger in person than in the pictures. The bathroom isn’t huge, but it’s quite adequate, and the balcony has a beautiful mountain view. We had a wonderful holiday in the Allgäu and would definitely stay here again. Our photos were taken after our stay in the apartment.

We’re in our mid-50s and this was our second stay in the Speigl family’s holiday apartment. It’s in a lovely, peaceful spot, and it has everything you could need. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We’d highly recommend it and are already looking forward to another holiday in Fischen-Au with the Speigl family.

The hosts were really friendly, and the apartment was great. It had everything we needed, including a smart TV and Wi-Fi.
