Wohlfühlhotel Frohsinn

We especially appreciated how smoothly the team handled allergies and intolerances. Dinner was a delicious five-course meal, beautifully presented, and the spa was a lovely place to spend time. Our room was clean and well looked after, and we felt at home. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, always keen to meet our requests. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

We came away feeling very comfortable in the clean, well-kept spa. The one thing I’d change is the schedule: it’s open from 3 to 9 pm, while dinner begins at 6, so slightly earlier hours would be more convenient. I was there with my mother, and the team took excellent care of my celiac needs. Gluten-free rolls were available at breakfast, and each five-course dinner was adapted for me so I could enjoy every dish without worrying about gluten. Our service was excellent, especially from Fedat, whose attentiveness and warm manner made the stay even nicer. A lovely visit, and I’d recommend it to anyone with dietary needs.

We felt at home at Hotel Frohsinn from the start. The welcome was warm, everything was explained clearly, and because we know the hotel, we could head straight to our room. We couldn’t get our usual room this time, but the one we were given was clean, well equipped, and just fine. The extra pillows arrived straight away with no fuss; only the view was different from what we’re used to. Breakfast had a good range, and we could ask for specialty coffees. Dinner was very good too. Clearer labels for the salad choices would help, particularly for anyone with allergies or intolerances, though the staff were attentive and quickly found solutions. The wellness area was spotless and well cared for, a great place to relax after an active day. The Wi-Fi didn’t really meet my needs for work, so I used mobile data. I also think the extra activities beyond the tourist tax, like guided hikes for a small fee, could be promoted more. They’re easy to book on the Hörnerdörfer website or at the spa center. We had a very comfortable week and are already looking forward to coming back.
