The rooms were large and clean, with terraces and panoramic windows looking out over the green valley. The beds were extremely comfortable, and there’s plenty of parking in this quiet, beautiful location. We always get a friendly welcome from the lovely, attentive hosts, and the staff are friendly and dedicated. The restaurant has lots of space and panoramic windows, plus a varied menu of excellent local food with generous portions. Room and meal prices are both great value. Highly recommended, and we’re looking forward to visiting again.

There are lots of walking routes nearby, and I found the Black Forest hotel comfortable. It looked recently renovated, and my room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was plentiful, with meats, cheese, bread, and the option of scrambled eggs with bacon. I only wish I’d stayed longer than one night.

We used this as an extra overnight stop on the way from Italy to NL. The view was incredible, and the room was really spacious and nice. Good breakfast and very nice people, too. We’ll stay here again in the future! :-)

We had a wonderful week at hotel Fuxxbau, with eight of us in the family. The hotel sits in a magical green spot, is comfortable and clean, and has a great view from every room. Breakfast was excellent and varied, with personal attention each time. Franzi and Michael were kind and friendly, always ready to advise us or help however they could. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times, and everything was fresh and delicious. Our stay will always be a lovely memory ❤️
