Breakfast starts at 6am, which is a real plus, and the selection is enough. They were able to provide gluten-free bread every morning. The staff are friendly, and it's a cozy little place within easy reach of the city center. The rooms aren't new, and the TV is barely bigger than my smartphone. There's also a gym, though I didn't see it myself.

I spent seven months here and was very comfortable and relaxed among nice, interesting people. I'll be back soon. The staff were welcoming, breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and coffee was free throughout the day. My non-smoking room had a comfortable bed and a perfectly clean bathroom. The southwest garden and terrace were inviting for a drink, cigarette, or chat, and nights were quiet. It's about a 10-minute walk to restaurants or the park, 20 minutes to the seaside, and 30 minutes to downtown Flensburg. Free parking spaces are available, and it's good value for money.

You can hear people in the neighboring rooms, so pack earplugs if that bothers you. Otherwise, it's a great place to spend the night. It feels like a time pocket from the 80s, with flat-screen TV and LED lighting added in.
