A quiet, simple countryside Schloß where it’s easy to unwind. Just note that lunch isn’t served.

The setting by the water is beautiful, and you can stay overnight on-site. A civil ceremony in the park is possible too. I DJ'd a wedding reception at Gut Suckow. The staff were friendly and the food was good, and keeping the volume reasonable caused no problems, though it shouldn’t get too loud. It would have been a 5-star experience if the smoke detectors could be deactivated for celebrations so subtle fog effects could be used.

The lake, lawn, and large grounds are beautiful, and it’s quiet there. But the staff seemed incompetent, and there were no gluten-free, lactose-free, or vegan options. When I asked, they acted like they’d never heard those terms. The price felt excessive too. My room in the "stable" was dark, cold, and damp, and cost €110. There’s no Wi-Fi, and I couldn’t get 3G with any provider. So if you want Stone Age style at a 5-star hotel price, you’re very welcome.
