Our half-board stay was priced about right for a hotel of this class. The rooms were comfortable, and the meals were okay. There’s a small indoor pool and sauna, plus a live band or DJ in the main dining area one night a week. The hotel sits on a hillside at the edge of one of the smaller villages in the Spessart, about 30 km south of Bad Orb. From the front rooms, you get a nice view over one end of town and the hill across the highway. The center is around a 15-minute walk away, with several restaurants and an Edeka grocery store.
