Hotel Morjan

The staff were very polite and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It’s a fantastic hotel in a convenient spot in Koblenz, with a modern, elegant interior. Definitely recommend!

Our room had a balcony overlooking the river, and the morning breakfast buffet was very good. The staff were friendly and accommodating. One evening, the gentleman at the front desk went out of his way to bring ice when my wife injured her knee. We stayed three nights in late July as part of a group, and would definitely come back. The hotel is right on the riverfront walkway. It was fairly easy to reach once we worked out the bus service from the train station.

Parking can be a challenge, and there’s no bar area for a nightcap, just a self service wine dispenser. Still, the breakfast buffet is excellent, and I’d recommend the hotel and stay again. It’s clean and no frills, right in the heart of Koblenz, with easy access to everything, including Deutsche Eck, the cable car to the Ehrenbreitstein fortress, Altstadt shopping and dining. Front rooms have an amazing view of the Rhine and the Ehrenbreitstein fortress, while the back rooms look out over a parking lot and apartments.

Some rooms have lovely views of The Rhine. The staff are wonderful and helpful, and breakfast was excellent, though you’ll want to come down early for the full choice. It’s a simple hotel with nice rooms.
