Holiday Inn - the niu, Air Frankfurt Messe

The Holiday Inn name gave me a slightly misleading idea. This feels more like a Radisson Red, trendy and younger, but less homely. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and although the location is a bit out of the way, the tram right outside is excellent and comes every 10 minutes. We had to go elsewhere for dinner because staffing problems meant they couldn’t serve drinks at the bar. Even so, it was good value.

Getting to Messe Frankfurt was easy: the metro from around the corner at the hotel goes straight to outside the Messe entrance. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to provide good service. My room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the shower clean and good. Breakfast had good quality and variety. There wasn’t a chef making omelettes and such, but the scrambled eggs were fine. There’s no supermarket nearby unless you take the metro one or more stops. Free street parking is possible if you find a space. I did get away with parking overnight where the sign said no parking. It suited my needs perfectly, and I’d stay again.

A peaceful area and being right at the end of Tram line 17 made getting around easy. For basics, tegut is just one tram stop away. It’s a good option for a couple of business days when you want to unwind a little. My room was clean and connecting to the chromecast worked without any trouble. It’s simple, so don’t expect a fridge or water kettle. The staff were very nice and tried to accommodate requests, even providing hot water and a bottle opener. I loved my stay here.

Christina, the manager, deserves a special thank you for going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and seamless. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care set the tone. Tatiana, Sam, and Emmanuel were also wonderful, always helpful, friendly, and attentive. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and their positive attitude made us feel welcome and valued. The whole team delivered such a high standard of service that the stay was comfortable and memorable. We had a great experience at Holiday Inn , the niu, Frankfurt Messe, and look forward to returning. Highly recommend it.
