Hotel Forty Four

I saw cockroaches, damaged furniture, and several signs that the room hadn't been cleaned properly. The conditions raised serious hygiene concerns, so I had to leave right away and pay for somewhere else to stay. I reported what happened and provided evidence. at BOOking and Unfortunately, getting a refund has been impossible. Please be cautious before booking. From my experience, this place doesn't meet basic cleanliness and safety standards.

I felt very unsafe in this area. There was a lot of noise, a strip club, and many people staggering around, apparently drugged up. Be very aware of what you're booking if you choose this low-cost hotel.

We booked one night through booking.com, but the listing was deceiving. After parking across the street for just two minutes, we had to find another hotel. The street was full of drug addicts and drunk people, with lots of noise, and the hotel seemed to be right next to a brothel. It felt very unsafe and not suitable for a family with kids. Avoid it at all costs. The placement makes it the worst hotel ever.

They don't serve breakfast anymore, and the room had a kettle but no cups, just one glass. I'm sure reception might have provided cups. The amenities included shower gel and disposable cups for rinsing your mouth. The TV had German channels only. It's a convenient place for a short overnight stay, just a six-minute walk from the train station, though there are brothels nearby. Our room was clean but smelled of smoke, as if someone had been smoking in it.
