The location is good, and the room was clean and tidy. The only bed option was twin beds, not a king-size, which seemed like a strange choice. There was no deep cleaning, just light cleaning, and there wasn’t enough hot water to use the bath properly. Breakfast was awful, with too little choice; the croissants were always gone when I asked. Special thanks only to the welcoming reception staff.

The front desk staff were friendly, and the free Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The hotel feels worn out, though, and the basic room had two very small single beds. The carpet by the bathroom was damp and smelled nasty. I got in late on the first night and was only staying a couple of days, so I didn’t report it. The hot water ran out before I could have a decent bath.

The room was clean and fairly spacious, and basic toiletries were supplied. Most floors are wheelchair accessible, especially the entrance. The location was superb, the staff were quite friendly, and breakfast was good, though repetitive. It would be better if drinking water were provided free each day. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers.

My room was awful: tiny like a cleaning cupboard, with a narrow triangular shape and a small single bed that made me think of a prison cell. It wasn’t cheap, either. The place felt very dated, and the corridors smelled stale, like old fat. When I complained, the manager dismissed me and called the smell delicious. I don’t want to sleep surrounded by smells, whatever they’re called. I’ve travelled a lot, and honestly this was the worst place I’ve stayed, which surprised me in modern Germany. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
