Chiemsee Chalet

That sunset BBQ dinner was breathtaking. We loved the whole stay, from the hosts to the views over Chiemsee and the valley. The infinity pool was amazing, and having our own sauna and hot tub was a real treat. You can't go wrong choosing this place for a vacation.

We'd happily come back. The hosts were so friendly, and you could tell they really enjoy their work. Lake Chiemsee is close by, which makes it easy to head out on all sorts of excursions. The room was lovely, with a sauna, fireplace and kitchen that suited us perfectly. The kitchen was especially well equipped, with a coffee machine, milk frother, egg cooker and frying pan for fresh fried eggs. Breakfast had a huge spread of fresh, local products, and the evening meal was carefully prepared and excellent.

On sunny days, the pool and beautifully landscaped garden are a lovely place to relax. The whole team was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the service was outstanding. Chiemsee Chalet sits 800 meters up, with a stunning view of Lake Chiemsee. Everything is furnished to a high standard, while still feeling tasteful and comfortable. Breakfast was divine: fresh local bread and rolls, regional cheeses and cold cuts, fruit, juices, yogurt and croissants, all set out in our room so the table was ready when we got up. An unforgettable stay. We'll definitely be back, and I'd give it even more stars if I could!
