Haus Wiesengrund

In 2025, we spent a stay at Haus Wiesengrund as a couple, with beautiful autumn weather. The apartment was cozy and nicely furnished, with a welcoming balcony, and we had everything we needed. Drinks and snacks were available to help yourself to in the drying room. We’d love to come back, and next time we’ll definitely try the sauna. Thanks again for such a lovely stay!

We’ve been back to Haus Wiesengrund for a few wonderful days, and it’s just as idyllic as ever. It’s a lovely escape from everyday life, where we can rest and recharge. Our apartment was spacious and decorated with lots of care. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony and taking in the magnificent view. The warm atmosphere is everywhere, in the house and around the grounds, where there’s also a cozy garden seating area. Mrs. Kapfhammer cares about her guests’ well-being and is always happy to answer questions about walks, excursions, or a nice place to eat. This wasn’t our first visit, and it won’t be our last. Haus Wiesengrund was our pick for a full week this time, after we first stumbled across it for a weekend break. It’s right in the middle of the Bavarian Forest and priced so well that choosing it was easy. We’ve stayed twice now and have been completely happy both times. I almost don’t want to say too much, or it’ll get harder to book once everyone else finds it! We’ll definitely return on our next trip to the area. Thanks for such a lovely stay! ☺️

Those lovely balconies are just right for unwinding after a hike, and the surroundings are beautiful. My husband and I have been coming here every summer since 2017, and we always feel at home as soon as we arrive. The apartments are furnished with so much care, and truly have everything you could need. We’ve become big fans of the Kapfhammer family.
