Pension Fohlenhof

We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful time. The owners were incredibly kind, making time to chat after breakfast and offer tips. It felt like home. The guesthouse is also in a fantastic spot for both shorter and longer excursions. If we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely come back.

There are lots of leisure activities within easy reach on foot or by forest railway, and our dog was welcome everywhere. We had a wonderful weekend with lovely hosts and lots of animals to pet. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and guests can use a common room. Every morning brought a fantastic breakfast with eggs from the farm’s own chickens. Hope to see you again soon!

The breakfast was lovingly prepared and had everything we needed. We had a great weekend at the Fohlenhof and felt very well looked after. The hosts were friendly, open-minded, and lovely with children, and gave us good advice about excursions and nearby restaurants. For a longer stay, a stove upstairs in the kitchen would be useful so families could cook for themselves.

Getting around the surrounding area, near or farther away, was easy by train, car, or on foot. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, and clearly put the guest first. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms and guesthouse are lovingly furnished with lots of little details, and the big garden and lovely terrace are inviting places to relax.
