As someone with coeliac disease, I really appreciate having gluten free options. We travel a lot, and attentive service makes such a difference. Jan looked after us in the restaurant so wonderfully that it made our stay much more enjoyable.

I stayed at a few other hotels nearby, and this one is the best for me. It’s a great place to take a break and relax. The pool is half indoor and half outdoor, and there are three saunas at different temperatures, a steam room, a spa, a fitness area, and a nice garden. Breakfast was amazing and dinner was perfect. I also liked the hotel’s design. You can rent a bike or train in the forrest, and there’s a lake nearby.

A proper wellness hotel, with great food and a warm, clean pool. The sauna area is peaceful, and the rooms feel very modern. The bed was unbelievably comfortable.

Everything we hoped for was there. The family-run hotel is open all year, with free parking and a clean spa. We had a lovely terrace, and the outdoor pool sits in a beautiful garden. Service was impeccable. Our room was splendid, with a balcony, and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast, afternoon snacks, and a five-course dinner.

A great base for exploring the Bayerische Wald region. The restaurant staff were professional and really friendly, and the food was excellent. The pool and garden are lovely places to relax. Recommended.
