In summer, sitting outside by the pedestrian zone in Frechen with a cool drink is lovely. The lunch specials have that homemade, like Grandma used to make, feel, and the traditional German food comes with a pleasant atmosphere.

For the price, it’s a good hotel. The shared shower was clean and had a lock, and the room itself was tidy with a desk and a big TV. I would’ve preferred a slightly firmer bed.

I come every year for the hunting association’s annual general meeting. It’s a great pub, with fast service, tasty Kölsch and fair prices. The meatballs are fantastic!
