Christina and Peter have two adorable, well-behaved dogs, as well as donkeys, cats, and chickens. They also sell homemade things like apple juice, jam, schnapps, cider (Most 😉), and tarte flambée. We had a really relaxing few days, thank you! The apartment was clean and had all we needed, including an oven and dishwasher. It’s wonderfully quiet and surrounded by nature, with short and longer hiking paths nearby. The nearest shops are a bit of a walk, though easy to reach by car or bike. If you have time, the village café in Schweighausen is a nice walk and a good breakfast option. Booking directly on their website is worth it, as it’s the cheapest and easiest for them.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and even shared tips on hiking and mushroom picking. The guesthouse is cozy, and the donkeys are lovely to look at, not a nuisance at all. The apartment is spacious and beautifully furnished with high-quality items, right down to the cutlery and hairdryer. It’s in a lovely location beside wonderful hiking trails. Highly recommended, especially for families!

We’ve already booked our next holiday here. The owners are super friendly, the surroundings are beautiful, and everything is easy to reach. There’s one house for up to five people and another for larger groups. Both are modern, very well equipped, and clean. A wonderful place for a holiday!
