Boutiquehotel am Stadtgarten

I got numerous WhatsApp spam messages referring to the hotel after booking, which made it seem like my data had leaked. When I raised it with the hotel, their reply didn't show any apology or say they'd investigate. I chose to cancel and book somewhere else.

The breakfast buffet had a great range of tasty choices, and the staff were polite and helpful. We were extremely satisfied with our stay. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. I work as a housekeeper, so I can tell when a place is really clean.

I stayed for three nights over a long weekend in August, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The cleanliness and overall quality were far below standard, and the price didn't match what you get or what the online photos show. The pillows were so soft they had practically no filling, and the hotel had no extras left because they'd all been lent to guests with the same problem. Our room wasn't clean when we arrived. There were long brown hairs on the bed and red stains from the previous stay on the bathroom toilet flush knob. When cleaning came, we got fresh towels, but the floor wasn't cleaned and nothing else was wiped down. We told the front desk, and they responded indifferently.

Lovely room. The TV doesn't support Google Chromecast, though.
