The free parking right outside the guesthouse was a real plus, and the restaurant downstairs was lively with nice food. The location is fine, though it’s on a busy intersection and noisy. The rooms are plain but okay. Privacy was the main problem: the shared balcony, with neighbors smoking, was right beside the bed, and the curtains were too short. The room noise also made it hard to sleep well. The bathrooms weren’t very clean or well maintained.

The staff were the highlight. They went out of their way to help, and the place felt charming and very European. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and clean, with lovely courtyard views from the windows. I thought it was worth every penny. One thing to know: the website doesn’t switch easily to other languages, which can make booking directly difficult.

The outside seating is lovely in summer, and the staff were quite friendly. The fries were good, and the burger was okay, though it had a bit too much mayo. The chicken in Sesammantel isn’t something I’d recommend. It was fried, and the meat didn’t taste fresh, possibly frozen and pressed. This place was better in past years.

Dinner here is packed with locals, which gives you a good idea of the food. We loved the meals and the service, and everyone was so nice and did their best to speak English since we don’t speak German. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the dining room has a really convivial feel. We were very happy here and will definitely stay again.
