The apartment was spotless, modern, and brand new, with an amazingly comfortable mattress. Still, for such a high price, the customer experience felt poor and a bit shameless. The wifi was very weak, and self check-in was somewhat complicated, perhaps not ideal for older visitors. The apartment stayed around 23 degrees while Freiburg was about 18. We couldn't get the thermostat to lower it, so we slept with the windows open. I can't imagine how it gets in summer. The blankets were thick and warm, not right for fall. The kitchen was missing basic things like tissues, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, tea, and even a scourer. That's standard in apartments, and most hotels have coffee and tea. Some items were available downstairs in a small shop at very high prices. The furniture looked nice, but with no decoration the place felt like a hospital. A mirror outside the bathroom would've helped.

The team were wonderful when I realized I'd left valuable documents and a hard drive in the room. I found out too late, but they forwarded everything to me right away. I offered to pay for my mistake, but they said it was part of their service and their way of thanking me for staying. Excellent service. We also had a fair price, a quiet night's sleep, and some excellent food options within a five-minute walk on the same street. It's easy to get into the city by bike, and the location is good. Freiburg has plenty of places to stay, but this one is hard to beat for value with nice restaurants nearby. We enjoyed it and will return to Stuub St. Georgen in Freiburg. I spent two months here and had an amazing stay. It was cozy, private, clean, and comfortable. The staff handled everything efficiently and professionally, and were kind and friendly. 100% recommend!
