Ferienwohnung K4

I wouldn’t give this place even one star if I could. We arrived at the time we’d emailed, after the owner had contacted me first. He showed up five minutes after I called to say we were there, carrying a printout from Google Translate. It said the apartment had been double-booked and apologized, but offered another place and told us to follow him. We weren’t happy about it, but decided to see what it was like. After a drive of almost ten minutes, we reached a neighborhood that seemed dodgy to me. Once we went inside the building, I was terrified. I didn’t even get as far as the apartment: the place was, to put it mildly, a construction site. I told the owner I wouldn’t accept it and asked for a refund. He called his friend, who owned the second apartment. They said I wouldn’t get my money back and should just take it. They laughed and told me we’d sleep on the street if we refused, even though I had my five-year-old child with me. I called booking.com and got the issue resolved. I think this may be a scam, and without a third party involved, you’re doomed.
