Gasthof Stern Rauenberg

I spent a couple of days here with my parents and we had such a lovely time. The rooms were roomy, spotless and generous, and the food was great. Everyone made us feel at home. I’d happily recommend the place and would definitely return if I get the chance.

A lovely place to stay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

The freshly made breakfasts were lovely, and the hosts put so much effort into making you feel at home. The rooms are clean and spacious too. It’s a little slice of heaven in a beautiful part of Germany, whether you’re after some peace and quiet or a base for visiting nearby towns and cities. I couldn’t recommend it more.

The horses and carriage give the stay a lovely rural feel, and the hostess knows the region well. She was happy to share useful tips for activities, excursions and nearby hiking trails. There’s also private parking, which made things easier. Breakfast was plentiful, with plenty of variety and fresh products. The homemade bread, freshly baked and delicious, was a highlight. The wood-burning stove in the breakfast room made it feel warm and cozy, almost like being with family. The whole house was exceptionally clean and carefully kept. We also appreciated the separate entrance and its cozy seating area, which added privacy and made it easy to relax. From the friendly welcome at Pension Stern onward, the hostess made us feel comfortable. It was a peaceful, relaxing stay, and we felt so well looked after. A real vacation for mind, body and soul. We can wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse and would love to return. ⭐
