Breakfast had plenty to choose from, though I couldn't find any Asian food, and I had to ask for extra cleaning because the room wasn't cleaned effectively. The room itself was good. We had an issue with the hot water at first, but the hotel fixed it. The hotel sits up on a hill, so the walk from fruadenberg is a bit tough. There seemed to be just one person working there, but she did an excellent job. I had a good stay, and I'd say it's above average. A good option for anyone traveling and staying alone.

The hotel is old and not particularly nice, but the staff's unfriendliness was the real problem. We ordered at the restaurant before the 21:30 cutoff and got our plates at 21:55. At 22:00, we were told everything would close within five minutes and they'd take away any food or drink we hadn't finished. We weren't even allowed to finish our drinks outside. I've been to many places around the world, but as a paying hotel and restaurant customer, I'd never been treated so harshly before. I really wouldn't recommend this place. Avoid it if you can, along with the people working there.

The room was never cleaned, and the towels were never changed. Breakfast was very poor, and the only person working in the hotel was rude. It also felt very unfriendly toward working-class people, even though most of the guests were workers. A very bad experience. They don't know how to run a hotel, so they should close it.

The restaurant food was good, and breakfast had a wide selection. The hotel was comfortable and clean, though the decor felt a little outdated. It could use a renovation.

The food was lovely, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was a big choice of beers. It was clean and tidy too. Staying here felt like stepping back into the 70’s, in a quaint place in the woods with a touch of The Shining. I half expected Jack Nicholson to burst through a door yelling “here’s Johnny!” Miles ahead of any ibis we’ve stayed at.
