Pension Zur Neuenburg

The hosts were really caring, and the room had a fun theme in its decor. It wasn't anything spectacular, but everything was clean and worked fine. Breakfast was superb.

I went for breakfast with a good friend from the area and was completely won over. The place was cozy, and the owner was so friendly and accommodating. I'll be back next time I'm nearby, and if I could, I'd give it 10 stars. Come hungry, it's worth it! The food was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and filling without feeling ordinary. There were flavorful salads, good bread, oatmeal, antipasti, and delicacies I'd never had in that combination before. Everything was seasoned just right. As someone who pays close attention to my diet, I found it a real treat. Pure bliss.

The hosts were very friendly, the rooms were clean and lovingly furnished, and the guesthouse made an ideal base for exploring. We spent the night at the Pension zur Neuenburg, where the rooms have charming decor tied to Freyburg's history and its winegrowing tradition. The next morning's breakfast buffet was beautifully laid out and had a wonderful range of choices. It left nothing wanting, and we highly recommend the guesthouse. Many thanks! We also joined a wine hike with Mr. Gast. He told us a lot about Freyburg, Neuenburg Castle, and wine in a way that was both informative and entertaining. It never got boring.
