We stayed there twice in summer 2025 and would happily go back. It's a newly remodeled hotel in an older building in downtown Frickenhausen, with spacious, clean rooms and bathrooms that all look brand new. The beds are comfortable, the A/C works great, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and speak English. Breakfast was excellent, and there's a nice beer garden. Free parking is a three-minute walk away.

Breakfast was delicious and extensive, served in an attractive room with nothing missing. We also enjoyed the opening of the beer garden. At the Wilma hotel in Frickenhausen am Main/Ochsenfurt, we were greeted very warmly. Our room was perfect, spacious and well furnished, with a wonderful bed and beautiful bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay. If you're booking in the Würzburch area, I highly recommend this hotel.

Nancy and Helmut were so helpful throughout our four nights at Hotel Wilma. When our car needed a professional check, Helmut connected us with a workshop within 2k of the hotel, and they diagnosed the problem for no charge. He also spent a lot of time walking us through places to visit, from local towns and villages to wine establishments. We had brought our bikes, so his local knowledge was useful for planning rides around the area. The breakfasts were excellent, and so was the attached restaurant. The whole stay was excellent from start to finish. We'd thoroughly recommend Hotel Wilma to anyone staying in Frickenhausen or the area. Tim and Penny from Tunbridge Wells in the UK.

Frickenhausen is about a 20-minute drive from Würzburg, and day trips to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Wertheim, or Schwäbisch Hall are easy to manage. We stayed three nights at Hotel Wilma in April 26th and were thrilled. This family-run hotel deserves top marks, with the whole place renovated and furnished with incredible attention to detail. There are small and large design touches everywhere. Our room, number 12, was tastefully and luxuriously furnished, very quiet, and had a superb bathroom and bed. The TV was excellent too. The owner, Mr. Oechsner, was incredibly friendly, genuinely interested, and very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was second to none, especially the machine that makes fresh almond butter at the touch of a button. I rarely need time to think before writing a review, and this was one of those stays that left me thrilled right away.
