The family room was spacious, as was the property, and breakfast was good at 9 euro. You can take a drink from the fridge and pay at checkout, and free bicycles are available. It’s very quiet, though far from the center. In summer the family room gets too warm, and there was no fan or AC. There were also lots of mosquitoes. If you arrive after 6 PM, it may be unclear what to do because nobody is at the service desk and there’s no way to call anyone. For breakfast elsewhere, expect to walk about 2-3km.

Don Bosco Haus is a youth hostel, not a luxury hotel, but the staff were first rate, both friendly and helpful. After the exhausting days exhibiting at the Outdoor Show in Friedrichshafen, coming back to its calm and quiet was fantastic. It’s a short walk to downtown, and the breakfast was amazing. I’m definitely planning to stay here for the next show.

The staff were nice, and the service and food at our event were good. The internet was worthless, though. You’ll need to ask for better service or use Cellular.
