For a one-day business trip, this was a nice stay. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and good enough. The housekeeping team is young and did a great job, while the hotel manager was helpful right away and even happy to chat. The self check-in seemed simple, and two guys were there to help when we had trouble.

The view from our room was a real highlight at Hey Lou Hotel Friedrichshafen (formerly Styles Hotel). After a long drive, the easy, convenient parking was much appreciated, and breakfast had a great range of fresh, tasty choices. The staff were kind and efficient and made us feel welcome throughout. We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

There are no longer coffee makers, kettles, or fridges in the rooms. For our two-night stay, the staff did find a kettle in storage and lent it to us. Since we had driven this time, we could keep a few things in the car instead.

The room was clean and quiet, and the staff kindly pointed us toward both a restaurant and the bus stop. We were caught off guard by reception being closed until 6:30 a.m.; it would've been nice to use the coffee machine. There's no restaurant in the hotel, either. It wasn't very convenient for us as bicyclists visiting a foreign country.

The breakfast buffet was tasty, and the service desk staff were friendly. We did have to drive back after they mixed up my colleague's and my payments on the bills. It was an understandable mistake, and we also should've checked at once. There is underground parking. We chose the hotel for a good project-partner discount during our business trip. The room was on the small side and the bed was old but still comfortable. The location wasn't ideal for me, but at the discounted price, it's a reasonable budget option.
