It’s a basic but clean hotel near the railway station. The rooms are small, and there’s currently a building site next door, so there’s early morning noise.

The location is decent, the bathroom is clean, and the furniture is fairly modern. The staff seem friendly, and there’s a TV, daily cleaned sheets, and a nice bottle of water. Still, there’s a lot that needs attention. The room is noisy, partly because reception is on the same floor and the door is loud. It gets very warm with no airco, and there’s no view. We had to keep the windowcovers closed so people couldn’t look in. The bed is very small at 1.20 m, and the mattress is hard and smells bad. There’s potential here, either by fixing those problems or lowering the prices. I visited 5 hotels in a row for the alpenstraße, and this was by far the least good one.

The room was room-only, with no breakfast, but the place was clean and compact, and the location was good. The staff were helpful and friendly. They didn't speak English, though Google Translate worked fine.

The location is a real plus, about three minutes from both the train station and the lake. The room was comfortable, and it works for a couple of nights. Still, I thought the hotel was a bit overrated.
