The room was beautiful, and you could tell a lot of work had gone into making the place lovely. The owners seem to really enjoy running it, and even live right next door. Breakfast was delicious too. My boyfriend and I chose this hotel for a weekend away together, and a lovely woman at reception welcomed us right away. She took time to show us around and explain what was available at the hotel and in town. I'd come back next time I need a weekend off.

The hosts were top notch, as was the à la carte breakfast. Our room was clean and nice, and there was an outdoor terrace. I was pleasantly surprised by how central the hotel is after staying two nights. Recommended for a trip to Friedrichstadt and Schleswig Holstein.

We felt welcome the whole time. The hotel was spotless, the service fantastic, and breakfast was great. They also have a room for guests with dogs.

A nicely renovated hotel that combines old and modern touches, run by a very friendly owner. I didn't eat there, so can't comment on the food. I do think a buffet breakfast is much better than à la carte.

The hosts were so friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. It's a nice little hotel run by the owner, with lots of thoughtful extras. The town is lovely too, and makes a great base for Nordfriesland.
