Breakfast was very good and included, served in a room full of orchids. The bedrooms are beautiful, and some have balconies looking out over a lovely garden. This guesthouse gives its guests 5 star service. We’ll be back again.

It’s about a 10-minute walk to the town center, and the guesthouse sits quietly on the outskirts of Friedrichstadt. I think it has 8 rooms. There’s a very large garden with plenty of seating. Breakfast is plentiful, but remember to book it if it isn’t included. It depends on the room, and Mrs. Ziemann is very friendly and helpful, and happy to accommodate breakfast requests. The house isn’t the newest, but it’s all very clean and well maintained. We’d be happy to come back.

The town’s lovely old center is close by, but the guesthouse itself is wonderfully quiet. We were looked after so thoughtfully, and they seem to have considered every little detail. A place with a charm all its own. Thank you for such warm hospitality.

The garden was a lovely place to sit, and our room even had a furnished balcony with a sun lounger. Mrs. Ziemann made us feel right at home and served a varied, excellent breakfast in the tastefully decorated conservatory. Everything we needed for a short break was in the room, and the town center is only 1 km away. We felt very comfortable at Gästehaus Ziemann and will certainly return.
